- Single-player skilling. Gathering, production and combat skills, each from level 1 to 99, feeding into each other.
- Offline time is simulated. Like Melvor, the game replays the time you were away instead of paying a flat bonus. Offline time can finish a quest step or drop a rare item.
- A combat triangle. Melee, Ranged and Magic each beat one style and lose to another.

Where Melvor is ahead
Melvor Idle is bigger, older and more polished, with a studio behind it. The full game has more skills, levels go to 120 with the expansions, and it has real mobile apps. DragonScape Idle is made by one developer, is in open beta, and its item and monster icons are AI-generated images. If you want the deepest game in the genre and do not mind paying, Melvor is a great choice.
If you came from RuneScape
Many Melvor players found it because they liked RuneScape's skilling and wanted it without the clicking. DragonScape Idle is for the same player: skills to 99, gear you make yourself, rare drops, and progress while you are away. It is its own game with its own world, items and art, and it is single-player, so there is no trading or PvP.
Why try this one
Because the browser version is the whole game and it costs nothing. There is no demo wall, no token shop and no advertising.
