A skilling idle game where every skill feeds another
Pick a skill and your hero gets to work. Mine ore, smelt it into bars, smith the bars into armour. Chop logs and fletch them into arrows. Catch fish and cook it for your next fight. Each skill you level makes the others more useful.

- Gathering: Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Farming, Thieving and Exploring.
- Production: Smithing, Cooking, Crafting, Fletching, Firemaking, Runecrafting and Brewing.
- Combat: Melee, Ranged, Magic and Hitpoints, plus Prayer.
- Pets that you collect and level alongside everything else.
Every skill runs from level 1 to 99. Higher levels open better resources, faster actions and new recipes, so there is always a next unlock in sight.
Skilling that connects
Nothing you gather is wasted. Ore and logs become gear, herbs become brews, fish becomes food, and the gold from selling the surplus buys upgrades. Planning which skill to train next, and which one it will help, is a big part of the fun.
Tools and gear for each skill
Skilling has its own equipment, separate from your combat loadout. Better tools speed up actions, and skilling gear adds bonuses such as extra resources or a better chance of success. Each skill shows a recommended loadout, so you can see what to aim for.
Guilds and Skill Capes
Skill guilds give an endgame chain of quests for players near the top of a skill, with guild-only gear along the way and a Skill Cape at the end. Over 100 quests with a story to follow give the rest of your skilling a direction.
It keeps training while you are away
Close the tab and come back later: the game replays the time you were away with the same actions and rolls it would have used live, for up to 12 hours to start and up to 24 with permanent upgrades. Farming keeps growing offline once you have the Auto Farmer.
Free, in your browser or on Android
The whole game is free with no ads, and nothing is locked behind a purchase. It runs in any modern browser, and on Android it is also on Google Play. Sign in with Google or email to keep one save across your devices. DragonScape Idle is made by one developer and is in open beta, so balance still changes between releases. The item and monster icons are AI-generated images.
Questions
Can I train skills without fighting?
Yes. You can spend as long as you like on gathering and production. Combat opens more items and quests, but no skill forces you into it.
Where can I compare XP rates?
On the wiki's XP rates guide, computed with the game's own formulas on every release. The money making guide ranks the ways to earn gold.
Will my progress carry over when the game launches?
No. The game is in open beta, and at the global launch every account starts again from zero, so new and old players begin on the same day. Your beta play builds a gem reward that is paid out on launch day, and accounts created before launch keep a permanent Open Beta banner. The reward needs a Google or email sign-in. The Global Launch guide has the details.
