An RPG that keeps playing while you are away
Start a skill or a fight, close the game, and come back to real progress. DragonScape Idle replays the time you were gone, so the hours you spend away count just like the hours you spend watching.
Play free nowReplayed, not estimated
Many idle games hand you a lump of resources based on an average rate. DragonScape Idle runs the time you were away through the same rules as live play: the same actions, the same drop rolls, the same quest credit. That means a night away can finish a quest objective, level a skill or drop a rare item, and the report tells you exactly what happened.
How long it lasts
The offline window starts at 12 hours. Permanent upgrades raise it to 24, so you can play once in the morning and once in the evening and lose nothing in between.
What keeps going
- Skills: gathering and production carry on, using up materials as they would live.
- Combat: a fight you leave running continues with your gear and food, and banks the loot.
- Quests: objectives get credit from offline actions, so a step can complete while you sleep.
- Farming: crops keep growing and get harvested and replanted once you have the Auto Farmer.
A full RPG to come back to
Skills from level 1 to 99, a combat triangle (Melee beats Ranged, Ranged beats Magic, Magic beats Melee), dungeons with a chest at the end, over 100 quests with a story to follow, skill guilds with a Skill Cape each, pets, weekly boards and time-limited events. Each check-in is a chance to spend what you earned and set the next goal.
Free, on any device
The whole game is free with no ads, and nothing is locked behind a purchase. It runs in any modern browser on a computer or a phone, and on Android it is also on Google Play. Sign in with Google or email and your offline time counts whichever device you come back on. DragonScape Idle is made by one developer and is in open beta, so balance still changes between releases. The item and monster icons are AI-generated images.
Questions
How long does offline progress last?
Up to 12 hours to start, and up to 24 with permanent upgrades. Time beyond the window is not counted.
Does combat work offline?
Yes. A fight you leave running keeps going with your gear, food and drop rolls, and the report shows what you earned.
Do I need an account for offline progress?
No. It works for guests in the same browser. Sign in to keep one save across your devices.
Will my progress carry over when the game launches?
No. The game is in open beta, and at the global launch every account starts again from zero, so new and old players begin on the same day. Your beta play builds a gem reward that is paid out on launch day, and accounts created before launch keep a permanent Open Beta banner. The reward needs a Google or email sign-in. The Global Launch guide has the details.
